This book was made with pure soul and it shows. It’s beautifully crafted and curated and the knowledge it contains is far worth more than I spent on this book. I love the organization and in depth detail that went into every page. The techniques are structured clearly and well organized. I’m so excited to learn and grow in skill with this book! If you’re on the fence just buy it. This would also make a beautiful gift to anyone looking into getting into watercolor, it’s great for all skill levels. I would highly recommend.NOT recommended. Boring, dull and uninspiring This is a workshop billed as "modern botanicals in watercolor" but it's not very modern and it's not much of a workshop. In fact, I don't recommend this book to either beginners, to whom it's targeted or anyone else doing watercolor of flowers and plants.1. The few paintings are utterly uninspiring (see image)2. the paint names are "twee" things like "raspberry." What is raspberry? Do you mean "quinacridone magenta"? Which is a color I can go buy from Daniel Smith or Winsor Newton? If so SAY SO.3. Lots of beginner stuff like photos of paint smears on palettes.4. Some very blah drawings in the back to trace but not much on draftmanship.5.The drawing of plants and the illustrations are small and really boring.I went through this book and it was the biggest let-down.Totally skip this book.

Stop hating on the Clintons I haven’t read the book yet , but I went to order it and I wanted to read the reviews on here and how sad people that hate these two women , they did not read the book but yet decided to come on here and make it be about their political bias against the Clintons , went out of their way to do so .. I am buying the book and I hope that others do too.. too bad you hateful people on here can’t read , Just decided to think by leaving a bad review will not make others buy it and see for themselves, try reading the book , it’s not even about politics , so I am not understanding why you all hatingSimple and Meaningful Captured me from the first word. I really love these incredible brave women with Grit. I am ordering a few more for the young girls in my life. Well done. The haters will come on here with 1 stars, they are the opposite of what this book is.A wonderful book by two wonderful women It’s too bad that Republicans that read this book have to be so negative as always it was a wonderful book by two wonderful women who continue to do wonderful things for our country and our readers.
