Her story of going from a very active person and doctor to being bed ridden from a mysterious illness is at times excruciating. Her book is written so well it is easy to imagine being in her shoes. What happens to Cynthia in her life could happen to anyone and I suspect we will be seeing more and more stories like this in the future. My mom suffers from a similar chronic disorder, although more mild, and it has changed her life significantly. I thank Cynthia for sharing her sickness, her path to feeling better and her openness about how it effected her family.
